Jason Benefield

A native of Chicago, IL, Jason has been writing and performing his own brand of country music throughout the Midwest for over a decade. In addition, he has been involved with a number of rock and gospel projects.

Jason currently leads music at the First Baptist Church of Wood Dale, IL. He and his family now make their home in Westmont, IL.

Jason, a proud member of the Illinois Country Music Association, believes that the exposure and support of local music is vital to the health of country music as a true American art form. Country music is the people's music, and, as such, it should remain in the hands of the people.

In addition, he has worked with countless musicians, including some of Nashville's finest session musicians, and is always interested in any opportunity to collaborate with other artists.
